Strawberry Jam

How to

  • Gather Ingredients and Tools, then prep Ingredients as indicated.

  • In a bowl mash strawberries into a mash and transfer to a pot, add Honey and Salt.

  • Bring to a boil and and stir often until mixtures reaches 220℉, then reduce by ¼ volume. Make sure to stir continuously so jam doesn't burn.

  • Transfer to mason jars to cool.


  • Try adding Herbs to add flavor.

  • Substitute Raspberries or Blueberries for Strawberries, or try mixing any available Berries to create a blend.

  • When available in the PNW, use lemons! Add ¼ Cup Lemon Juice and 1 Tbsp Lemon Zest along with other Ingredients.


  • 2 pounds Strawberries, stemmed and cored

  • 2 ½ Cups Honey

  • 2 tsp Salt


  • Knife

  • Cutting Board

  • Measuring Cup

  • Measuring Spoon

  • Pot

  • Rubber Spatula

  • Box grater

  • Airtight Container


  • Airtight Container for up to 7 days in the Fridge or 6 Months in the Freezer.
