Cooked Farro Grain

How to

  • Gather all Ingredients and Tools.

  • Add Butter to large pot and sauté Farro Grain, stirring often, and toast for 3 minutes.

  • Pour Anything Stock into Grain and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cover.

  • Cook for roughly 30 minutes, check for doneness along the way.

  • Cook for less time for a firmer Grain or longer for softer Grain.


  • Substitute our Anything Stock for Water for a richer flavored Farro.

  • Mix in with any cooked Meats.

  • If you want a Savory Farro, add some aromatics when cooking such as Onions, Garlic, or Herbs.

  • Add some Butter or Cream to add creaminess.


  • 2 Cups Farro Grain

  • 4 Cups Water

  • 2 Tbsp Butter

  • Airtight Container in the Refrigerator for up to 5 days.
